About Us: King of the Road Driving School, LLC began in 2006. We have seven instructors. We offer classes that last three weeks from start to finish. We pick students up for drives at their homes and drop them off at their homes.

We offer Segment I and Segment II drivers education classes at eight locations: Standish, Pinconning, Tawas, Twining, Midland, Bullock Creek, Au Gres, and Hale. Segment I costs $275. Segment II costs just $25.

Segment I consists of 24 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel driving. Your student must be 14 years and 8 months old by the first day of class.

Segment II consists of six hours of classroom instruction. Your student must have completed a minimum of 30 hours of supervised driving time including a minimum of two hours of night driving and must have held a valid Level I License for not less than three continuous months by the first day of class.
